Aqua Metals is engaged in the business of recycling lead through a proprietary and patented process it developed and named AquaRefining™. AquaRefining uses a bio-degradable aqueous solvent and a temperature electro-chemical process to produce lead suitable for use in lead acid battery (LAB) production. Co.'s AquaRefining process has primary elements, which uses a proprietary, non-toxic solvent that dissolves lead compounds; and a proprietary electro-chemical process and Aqualyzer that converts the dissolved lead compounds into lead that is suitable for use in LAB production. Co.'s AquaRefining process can generate lead and lead-based products, including lead, lead alloys and lead compounds.
