Argo Group International Holdings is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is an underwriter of insurance products in the property and casualty market. Co.'s segments are: U.S. Operations, which is comprised of the Excess and Surplus Lines businesses focusing on the U.S.-based risks that the standard, admitted insurance market is unwilling or unable to write; and International Operations, which is focus on insurance risks through the broker market, focusing on property insurance, primary/excess casualty, professional liability, and marine and energy insurance and includes the Lloyd's Syndicate platform, a Bermuda trading platform and businesses in Continental Europe.
