| About Burcon NutraScience Corp |
| Burcon NutraScience has developed a pea protein which it has branded as Peazazz®, its technology platform to extract proteins from a non-oilseed source. Co.'s technology extracts and purifies a pea protein from field peas. Furthermore, Co.'s technologies allow it to extract and purify three types of canola proteins from canola meal, a co-product of the canola seed crushing industry. Co. has branded these canola proteins under the trade names Puratein®, Supertein® and Nutratein®. Co. has also developed technologies to extract and purify soy protein from a variety of soy materials. These technologies encompass various processes to produce a soy protein which Co. has branded as CLARISOY®.
