| Blackstone Inc. is an alternative asset manager. Co.'s asset management business includes investment vehicles, which is focused on real estate, private equity, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, credit, real assets, and secondary funds. Co. operates through four segments: Real Estate, Private Equity, Credit & Insurance, and Hedge Fund Solutions. Its Blackstone Real Estate Partners (BREP) business makes investments in logistics, office, rental housing, hospitality, and retail properties, as well as in a variety of real estate operating companies. We show 60 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our BX shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute BX market cap on those dates. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing BX market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing BX's market cap history versus its peers.
