Broadway Financial is a savings and loan holding company. Through its subsidiary, Broadway Federal Bank, f.s.b., Co. is engaged in accepting deposits from the general public in the areas surrounding its branch offices, loan customers, non-profit entities, local municipalities, and depositors. These deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, primarily in mortgage loans secured by residential properties with five or more units (multi-family) and commercial real estate. In addition, Co. invests in securities issued by federal government agencies, residential mortgage-backed securities and other investments.
