| Cimarex Energy is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. Co.'s operations are located mainly in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Co.'s operations are focused in the following main areas: the Permian Basin and the Mid-Continent. Co.'s Permian Basin region encompasses west Texas and southeast New Mexico. Co.'s Mid-Continent region consists of Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.
