| iShares California AMT-Free Muni Bond ETF (the “Fund”) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of investment-grade municipal bonds issued in the State of California, as represented by the S&P California AMT-Free Municipal Bond IndexTM (the “Index”). The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. Due to the use of representative sampling, the Fund may or may not hold all of the securities that are included in the Index. As of Feb 28 2015, the Fund's total assets were $384,908,625 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $380,639,367. We show 197 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our CMF shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute CMF market cap on those dates. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing CMF market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing CMF's market cap history versus its peers. Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much.
