| CTC Media holds a 25% interest in CTC Investments LLC, a Russian company that directly and indirectly owns all of the operating businesses of the CTC group in Russia and Kazakhstan (CTC group). The CTC group operates four Russian television channels and one Kazakh channel, which consists of CTC, Domashny, Che, CTC Love and Channel 31. CTC group is engaged in the sale of television advertising. CTC group is also engaged in the sale and sublicensing of programming content. In addition, CTC International and other channels in the group are available through cable, digital and satellite providers in various countries outside Russia. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing CTCM market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing CTCM's market cap history versus its peers.
