Ginkgo Bioworks Holdings develops a platform for programming cells to enable customers to utilize biology to create products across various industries. Co.'s platform includes equipment, robotic automation, software, data pipelines and tools, and operating procedures for throughput genetic engineering, fermentation, and analytics (referred to collectively as the Foundry); and a library of proprietary genetic assets and associated performance data (referred to collectively as Codebase).
