ECB Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company for Everett Co-operative Bank (the Bank). The Bank's business consists primarily of taking deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations, in one-to-four family residential real estate loans, commercial real estate and multifamily real estate loans, construction and land loans and home equity lines of credit and loans. It also invests in securities, consisting primarily of U.S. government and federal agency obligations, mortgage-backed securities and corporate bonds.
