| Edge Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company that discovers and develops hospital-based therapies for the management of acute, critical care conditions. Co.'s initial product candidates target rare, acute, neurological and other conditions. EG-1962, Co.'s product candidate, is for the management of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is bleeding around the brain due to a ruptured brain aneurysm. In addition to EG-1962, Co. is developing EG-1964, as a prophylactic treatment in the management of chronic subdural hematoma, to prevent recurrent bleeding on the surface of the brain. Co. is also developing EG-1965, for the prevention of post-operative atrial fibrillation.
