Educational Development is the publisher of Kane Miller children's books; Learning Wrap-Ups, maker of educational manipulatives; and SmartLab Toys, maker of STEAM-based toys and games. Co. is also the U.S. Multi-Level Marketing distributor of Usborne Publishing Limited children's books. Co. sells children's books educational toys and games and other related products through two business segments: Direct Sales Division, which sells Co.'s books and products through independent brand partners direct to the customer; and Publishing Division, which markets through commissioned trade representatives who call on retail book, toy and stores along with other retail outlets.
