eHealth, Inc. is an independent licensed insurance agency and advisor. Co. provides a private online health insurance marketplace with a technology and service platform that provides consumer engagement, education, and health insurance enrollment solutions. Its segments include Medicare and Employer and Individual. It markets a large selection of Medicare-related health insurance plans and, to a lesser extent, ancillary products, such as dental and vision insurance and indemnity plans, to its Medicare-eligible consumers.
