Empire State Realty Trust is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust that owns, manages, operates, acquires and repositions office, retail and multifamily properties in Manhattan and New York area. Co.'s reportable segments consist of a real estate segment and an observatory segment. Co.'s real estate segment includes all activities related to the ownership, management, operation, acquisition, repositioning and disposition of its commercial and multifamily real estate assets, principally office properties, located in Manhattan and New York metropolitan area. Co.'s observatory segment operates the 86th and 102nd floor observatories at the Empire State Building.
