89bio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of therapies for the treatment of liver and cardio-metabolic diseases. Co.'s primary product candidate, pegozafermin, a glycoPEGylated analog of fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21), is being developed for the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and for the treatment of severe hypertriglyceridemia.
