iShares 0-5 Year Investment Grade Corporate Bond is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade corporate bonds with remaining maturities of less than five years, as represented by the Markit iBoxx® US$ Liquid Investment Grade 0-5 Index (the Index). The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. As of Oct 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $80,250,203 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $79,471,527. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing
share price, and the resulting changing FALN market cap history over the course of time is important for investors
interested in comparing FALN's market cap history versus its peers.
Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much. Of course, that is a completely meaningless comparison without also knowing how many shares outstanding there are for each of the two companies,
