First BanCorp. is a financial holding company with two subsidiaries: FirstBank Puerto Rico and FirstBank Insurance Agency. It operates in six segments: Commercial and Corporate Banking (lending and services), Consumer Banking (lending and deposits), Mortgage Banking (origination, sale, servicing of residential mortgages), Treasury and Investments (treasury and investment management), United States Operations (banking on the U.S. mainland), and Virgin Islands Operations (banking in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, including retail and commercial services).
