First Hawaiian is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiary, First Hawaiian Bank, Co. operates various branches in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan. Co. has three segments: Retail Banking, which provides financial products and services to consumers and small businesses; Commercial Banking, which provides products that include corporate banking related products, residential and commercial real estate loans, commercial lease financing, secured and unsecured lines of credit, automobile loans and auto dealer financing, business deposit products and credit cards; and Treasury and Other, which consists of corporate asset and liability management activities including interest rate risk management.
