Five Prime Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing immune modulators and therapies for patients with solid tumor cancers. Co.'s primary focus is on developing immuno-oncology and targeted cancer therapies. Co.'s product candidate Bemarituzumab (FPA144) is an antibody that inhibits fibroblast growth factor receptor 2b, or FGFR2b, and that induces antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. Co.'s product candidate also include FPA150, an antibody that targets B7-H4 that Co. is studying in a clinical trial to treat patients with cancers that overexpress B7-H4; and FPT155, a soluble CD80 fusion protein that enhances co-stimulation of T cells through CD28.
