Global Water Resources is a water resource management company that owns, operates, and manages water, wastewater, and recycled water utilities in communities, principally in metropolitan Phoenix, AZ. Co. treats water to potable standards and also treats, cleans, and recycles wastewater for a variety of non-potable uses. Co.'s utilities employ groundwater systems for potable water production. Water is brought to the surface from underground aquifers, disinfected and stored in tanks for distribution to customers. Recycled water is created by taking wastewater and applying tertiary treatment (such as screening and filtration and disinfection processes) to create a non-potable water source.
