Helius Medical Technologies is a neurotechnology company. Co. develops, licenses or acquires non-implanted technologies targeted at reducing symptoms of neurological disease or trauma. Co.'s primary product, known as the Portable Neuromodulation Stimulator, is authorized for sale in Canada for two indications: for use as a short term treatment of chronic balance deficit due to mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injury and is to be used in conjunction with physical therapy; and for use as a short term treatment of gait deficit due to mild and moderate symptoms from multiple sclerosis and it is to be used in conjunction with physical therapy.
