Haverty Furniture Companies is a retailer of residential furniture and accessories. Co. provides its customers a selection of products and styles and virtually all of the furniture merchandise it carries bears the Havertys brand. Co. also provides the bedding product lines of Sealy®, Serta® and Tempur-Pedic®. Co.'s merchandise presentation is tailored to the needs and tastes of the local markets it serves emphasizing more “coastal,” “western” or “urban” looks as appropriate. Co. provides financing through an internal revolving charge credit plan as well as a third-party finance company. As of Dec 31 2011, Co. had 119 showrooms in 17 states all operated using the Havertys name.
