Infinity Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. Co. is focused on advancing eganelisib (IPI-549), an orally administered, clinical-stage, immuno-oncology product candidate that reprograms macrophages through selective inhibition of the enzyme phosphoinositide-3-kinase-gamma. The preclinical findings indicate that eganelisib may have the potential to treat various solid tumors and represents an additive or synergistic approach to restoring anti-tumor immunity in combination with other immunotherapies such as checkpoint inhibitors. Further, preclinical studies showed that eganelisib inhibits the regrowth of tumors that can occur following treatment with chemotherapy.
