| Iris Energy is a Bitcoin mining company. Co. builds, owns and operates data center and electrical infrastructure for the mining of Bitcoin that are primarily powered by renewable energy. Co.'s mining operations generate sales by earning Bitcoin through a combination of block rewards and transaction fees from the operation of its computers called Application-specific Integrated Circuits and exchanging these Bitcoin for currencies such as U.S. Dollars or Canadian Dollars on a daily basis.
