iShares Morningstar Large-Cap Value is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Morningstar Large Value Index (the Value Index). The Value Index measures the performance of stocks issued by large-capitalization companies that have exhibited above-average value characteristics as determined by Morningstar's index methodology. As of Apr 30 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $305,495,716 and $305,104,213, respectively. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing
share price, and the resulting changing JKF market cap history over the course of time is important for investors
interested in comparing JKF's market cap history versus its peers.
Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much. Of course, that is a completely meaningless comparison without also knowing how many shares outstanding there are for each of the two companies,
