Ladder Capital is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged as an internally-managed real estate investment trust that is focused on commercial real estate finance. Co.'s investment activities include: its primary business of originating senior first mortgage fixed and floating rate loans collateralized by commercial real estate with flexible loan structures; owning and operating commercial real estate, including net leased commercial properties; and investing in investment grade securities secured by first mortgage loans on commercial real estate. Co. invests in loans, securities and other interests in U.S. commercial real estate, with a focus on senior secured assets. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing

Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
