SemiLEDs is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. develops, manufactures and sells light emitting diode (LED) chips and LED components, LED modules and systems. Co.'s products are used for general lighting and other industrial applications, including ultraviolet, curing of polymers, LED light therapy in medical/cosmetic applications, counterfeit detection, germicidal and viricidal devices LED lighting for horticulture applications, architectural lighting and entertainment lighting. Co.'s proprietary technology integrates copper alloy in a vertical LED structure.
