| Laredo Petroleum is an independent energy company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and natural gas properties, primarily in the Permian Basin of West Texas. Co. is focusing its development activities on horizontal drilling targets in the Wolfcamp A, Wolfcamp B and Lower Spraberry formations. Other targets for possible future development include the Upper Spraberry, Middle Spraberry, Wolfcamp C, and Wolfcamp D formations.
