Market Vectors Morningstar Wide Moat Research is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to track (before fees and expenses) the Morningstar ® Wide Moat Focus Indexsm. The Fund uses a "passive" or index approach to achieve its investment objective by investing in a portfolio of securities that generally replicates the Funds' index. As of Sept 30 2013, the Fund's total assets were $365,175,311 and its investment portfolio was valued at $364,852,157. Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much. Of course, that is a completely meaningless comparison without also knowing how many shares outstanding there are for each of the two companies,
