Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Midstates Petroleum Company LLC, Co. is an independent exploration and production company focused on the application of drilling, completion and production operations techniques in oil and liquids basins in the onshore U.S. Co.'s operations are focused on exploration and production activities in the Mississippian Lime. Co.'s Mississippian Lime assets are located in Oklahoma and target the Mississippian Lime formation.
