ENDRA Life Sciences is engaged in developing technology in clinical diagnostic ultrasound for patient access to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Co.'s Thermo-Acoustic Enhanced Ultrasound (TAEUS) technology uses a pulsed energy source, radio-frequency, to generate ultrasonic waves in tissue. These waves are then detected with ultrasound equipment and used to create images and other forms of data using its proprietary algorithms. Co. is also developing TAEUS for incorporation into new ultrasound systems manufactured by companies such as General Electric Company, acting through its GE Healthcare business unit and the GE Global Research Center.
