Nicholas Financial is a holding company. Through its subsidiary, Nicholas Financial, Inc. (Nicholas Financial), Co. is a consumer finance company engaged primarily in acquiring and servicing automobile finance installment contracts (Contracts) for purchases of used and new automobiles and light trucks. Additionally, Nicholas Financial sells consumer-finance related products. Co.'s other subsidiary, Nicholas Data Services, Inc., serves as the intermediate holding company for Nicholas Financial. Co. is willing to purchase Contracts for purchases made by borrowers who do not have a good credit history and for older model and high-mileage automobiles.
