New Jersey Resources is an energy services holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. operates within four reporting segments: Natural Gas Distribution, which consists of regulated natural gas services, off-system sales, capacity and storage management operations; Clean Energy Ventures, which consists of capital investments in clean energy projects; Energy Services, which consists of unregulated wholesale and retail energy operations, as well as energy management services; and Storage and Transportation, which consists of operations and investments in the natural gas storage and transportation market, such as natural gas storage and transportation facilities. Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
