NOV Inc. is an independent provider of equipment and technology for the global energy industry. It operates through two segments: Energy Equipment, and Energy Products and Services. The Energy Products and Services segment offers technologies for drilling and well completion, optimizing performance. It designs, manufactures, rents, and sells equipment for drilling, intervention, completion, and production. The Energy Equipment segment manufactures and supports capital equipment and integrated systems for oil and gas exploration and production, both onshore and offshore, as well as for marine-based and industrial markets.
