National Western Life Group is a holding company. Through its subsidiary, National Western Life Insurance Company, Co. provides a portfolio of individual whole life, universal life and term insurance plans, and annuities, including supplementary riders. Co. manages its business between: Domestic Insurance Operations, whereby Co. is licensed to do business in all states (except for New York) and the District of Columbia, and products marketed are annuities, universal life insurance, and traditional life insurance, which include both term and whole life products; International Insurance Operations, which consists of a closed block of in force policies.
