Omega Healthcare Investors is a real estate investment trust. Co. has one reportable segment consisting of investments in healthcare-related real estate properties located in the U.S. and the U.K. Co.'s main business is to provide financing and capital to the long-term healthcare industry with a particular focus on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and to a lesser extent, independent living facilities, rehabilitation and acute care facilities and medical office buildings. Co.'s main portfolio consists of its long-term leases and real estate loans with healthcare operating companies and affiliates. Real estate loans consist of mortgage loans and other real estate loans.
