Oasis Midstream Partners owns, develops, operates and acquires a portfolio of midstream assets. Co. operates its business through its development companies: Bighorn DevCo LLC, which provides natural gas processing and crude oil terminaling and crude oil transportation; Bobcat DevCo LLC, which provides natural gas gathering, natural gas compression, gas lift supply, crude oil gathering and produced and flowback water gathering and disposal; Beartooth DevCo LLC, which provides produced and flowback water gathering and disposal and freshwater distribution; and Panther DevCo LLC, which provides crude oil gathering and produced and flowback water gathering and water disposal. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing
share price, and the resulting changing OMP market cap history over the course of time is important for investors
interested in comparing OMP's market cap history versus its peers.
Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much. Of course, that is a completely meaningless comparison without also knowing how many shares outstanding there are for each of the two companies,
