Pathfinder Bancorp is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiary, Pathfinder Bank (the Bank), Co. is primarily engaged in the business of accepting deposits from the general public in the Bank's market area, and investing such deposits, together with other sources of funds, in loans secured by commercial and residential real estate, and commercial business and consumer assets other than real estate. In addition, the Bank originates unsecured small business and consumer loans. The Bank also invests a portion of its assets in a range of debt securities issued by the U.S. Government and its agencies and sponsored enterprises, state and municipal governments and agencies, and corporations.
