Pingtan Marine Enterprise is a marine enterprise group engaging in ocean fishing through its subsidiary, Fujian Provincial Pingtan County Ocean Fishing Group Co., Ltd. Co. carries out marine fishing operations in the international waters and the approved waters in access fishing countries with various of its owned vessels or licensed vessels. Co.'s fishing fleet consists of vessels of fishing methods ranging from trawling, drift netting, light luring seine, long line fishing to squid jigging. Co. catches several species of fish, including squid, ribbon fish, croaker fish and cuttle fish. Co. arranges chartered transportation ships to deliver frozen stocks to cold storage warehouses.
