FreightCar America, Inc. is a diversified manufacturer of railcars and railcar components, primarily serving North America. They design and produce various railcar types for transporting bulk commodities and containerized freight, including box cars, open top hoppers, covered hoppers, gondolas, and both intermodal and non-intermodal flat cars. Their offerings include the Versaflood II open top hoppers with a patented automatic door system, multiple types of gondolas, triple hoppers, and intermodal flats.
