ProShares UltraShort Consumer Services is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks daily investment results that correspond to twice the inverse daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Consumer Services Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of consumer spending in the services industry of the United States equity market. Component companies include airlines, broadcasting and entertainment, apparel and broadline retailers, food and drug retailers, media agencies, publishing, gambling, hotels, restaurants and bars, and travel and tourism. As of May 31 2013, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $7,267,601 and $7,264,879, respectively. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing
share price, and the resulting changing SCC market cap history over the course of time is important for investors
interested in comparing SCC's market cap history versus its peers.
Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much. Of course, that is a completely meaningless comparison without also knowing how many shares outstanding there are for each of the two companies,
