| Market Vectors India Small-Cap Index ETF is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors India Small-Cap Index (the Index). The Index provides exposure to publicly traded companies that are headquartered in India or that generate the majority of their revenues in India. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing substantially all of its assets in the Subsidiary, a wholly owned subsidiary located in the Republic of Mauritius. As of Dec 31 2013, the Fund's total assets were $184,267,241 and its investment portfolio was valued at $122,188,303. We show 36 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our SCIF shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute SCIF market cap on those dates. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing SCIF market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing SCIF's market cap history versus its peers. Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much.
