Global Self Storage is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust that owns, operates, manages, acquires, and redevelops self-storage properties (stores) in the U.S. Co. owns and operates, or manages, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, stores located in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Oklahoma. In addition to conventional and climate-controlled units, several of the properties feature both covered and outside auto/RV/boat storage. Co. invests in stores by acquiring stores through its wholly owned subsidiaries and operates primarily in one segment, which is rental operations.
