Six Flags Entertainment is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. owns and operates regional theme parks and water parks. Co. operates regional theme parks and water parks in North America. Co.'s parks provide various thrill rides, water attractions, themed areas, concerts and shows, restaurants, game venues and retail outlets. Co. owns the Six Flags brand name in the U.S. and other countries throughout the world. The majority of Co.'s parks are branded as Six Flags or Hurricane Harbor parks, and it is working with a third party to develop a Six Flags-branded theme park in Saudi Arabia. Co. licenses the right to use certain Warner Bros. and DC Comics characters at its theme parks.
