| SPDR S&P Emerging Markets is an open-end investment management company. The SPDR S&P Emerging Markets ETF (the “Fund”) seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index based upon the emerging markets of the world. In seeking this objective, the Fund uses a sampling strategy. As of Sept 30 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $188,706,881 and $199,288,994, respectively. We show 45 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our SPEM shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute SPEM market cap on those dates. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing SPEM market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing SPEM's market cap history versus its peers.
