Spirit AeroSystems Holdings is an independent non-Original Equipment Manufacturer aerostructures supplier. Co. operates in three principal segments: Commercial, which includes the design and manufacturing of the forward section of the aerostructure, the mid and rear fuselage sections, and nacelles; Defense and Space, which includes the design and manufacturing of fuselage, strut, nacelle, and wing aerostructures (primarily) for U.S. government defense programs and fixed wing aircraft aerostructures; and Aftermarket, which includes the development, production, and marketing of repairs for flight control surfaces and nacelles, radome repairs, and rotable assets.
