Southern States Bancshares is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiary, Southern States Bank (the Bank), Co. provides an array of deposit, loan and other banking-related products and services to businesses and individuals in its communities. Co. is primarily involved in real estate, commercial, agricultural and consumer lending activities with customers throughout its markets in Alabama and Georgia. Co. provides a variety of deposit products including demand deposits accounts, interest-bearing products, savings accounts and certificate of deposits. Co. also acquires brokered deposits, QwickRate internet certificates of deposit, and reciprocal deposits through the Promontory network.
