Community Financial is a bank holding company. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Community Bank of the Chesapeake (the Bank), Co. is engaged in the commercial and retail banking business, including the acceptance of deposits and the origination of loans. The Bank provides a variety of commercial and consumer loans. The Bank's lending activities include commercial real estate loans, loans secured by residential rental property, construction loans, land acquisition and development loans, equipment financing, commercial and consumer loans. The Bank's deposit products include savings, money market, demand deposit and time deposit accounts.
