| Transcontinental Realty Investors is an externally advised and managed real estate investment company that owns a portfolio of properties and land held for development throughout the Southern U.S. Co.'s portfolio of properties generally includes multifamily residential properties, office buildings and other commercial properties. Co.'s investment activity includes acquiring existing properties as well as developing new properties on land already owned or acquired for a specific development project. Co.'s operations are managed by Pillar Income Asset Management, Inc. We show 55 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our TCI shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute TCI market cap on those dates. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing TCI market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing TCI's market cap history versus its peers.
