| United Airlines Holdings is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. transports people and cargo throughout North America. Co.'s business and operations are dependent on its regional flight network. Co.'s subsidiary, United Airlines, Inc. (United), has bilateral commercial alliance agreements and obligations with Star Alliance members, addressing, among other things, reciprocal earning and redemption of frequent flyer miles, access to airport lounges and, with certain Star Alliance members, codesharing of flight operations. United's MileagePlus loyalty program provides awards, benefits and services to program participants. United provides freight and mail transportation services.
